First Tenants Meeting

For our first meeting, we will briefly introduce ourselves, allow you the opportunity to introduce yourselves, explain what a tenant association is, how you can get involved, and find out what issues in the building and the community are most important to you.  We will also touch briefly on the topic of rent stabilization, and the unique protections that designation affords us as residents of this rent-stabilized building.  

We will try to start the meeting promptly at 2pm and end no later than 3:30, out of respect for everyone's time.  If you would like to stay longer, we will still be available to chat with anyone who has further questions or stories to share.

Before, during, and after the meeting, we will be sharing information about how to stay connected, and how you can take our survey on your experience at 1 Bogardus Place.  The survey is very short, but absolutely crucial to our efforts.  It will help us prioritize our agenda and determine the best ways to communicate with everyone going forward so we can better serve you.  If we are to be an effective association, it is paramount that we get a survey response from every household possible.  Thank you for your cooperation and support in this effort.

Please note:  If you plan to attend this event in-person in the Lobby, please be sure to follow all mask and social distancing guidelines where possible, both in compliance with our building management's policies and to protect yourself and your neighbors.  If we feel the lobby has reached capacity, we will kindly ask you to join the meeting via Zoom instead.  Also, due to Zoom limitations, this event is currently capped at 100 guests on the registration page.  If you receive an "Event Full" or "Waitlist" message, please contact bogardustips@gmail.com for an alternative way to watch the meeting.  We will broadcast on another channel if needed.  Thank you in advance for your understanding.
